The wine was already bottled and saved from damage in December 2012.
The different appellation is a commercial choice dictated by the awareness of the specific identity and uniqueness of our Sangiovese wine, widely recognised by our Customers, which derives from the typicity of the terroir, the cultivation of the grapes, vinification and ageing.
The wine is accompanied by a technical sheet. It is a scientific report drawn up by Professor Massimo Vincenzini (Department of Microbiology, Florence University) and by Professor Luigi Odello (International Academy of Sensory Analysis), from studies in progress at Case Basse (including traceability, carried out by Dr Rita Vignani) briefly reporting the main facts.
